I am extremely excited!  In 3 weeks time, we will be going on a gem mining trip.  My oldest daughter and I are hoping to find a few extra special gems for my new addition......wire wrapping!!

I am working on pictures and current have 2 necklaces that are for sale (and not sold!)  I've been extremely fortunate and have had most of my pieces sell very quickly, if not before I make them.  The first is a purple flower motif with pearls and crystals.  The second is a beautiful gold and green turtle with multi colored beads.  I love how both turned out and should have these posted this week.  In the meantime, I'm working on wire wrapping a couple of pieces to show how I am coming along with this project.

Welcome to my site!  While I'm new to this site, I am not new to beading or jewelry making.  I've enjoyed making jewelry for many years and have taught Girl Scout troops many of the techniques.  Lately, my specialty has been break-away lanyards.  Many companies are requiring that employees wear badges at all times but, for safety reasons, those badges must be able to easily break away from the wearer's neck.  I've had great success at making these and they are always in high demand.

I'm hoping that this year I will be branching into wire wrappings!!  I love the look and feel of a wire wrapped piece and I look forward to posting my progress here!
